
Sports and fitness have always been a part of my life. I believe movement is one of the greatest gifts we’re given — a way to connect with ourselves, challenge our limits, and stay grounded through life’s ups and downs.
I grew up in Garland, TX, where I started playing tournament tennis at a young age. I played varsity tennis at Garland High School and served as team captain. That passion led me to Southwestern University, where I continued playing competitive tennis and majored in Kinesiology. I had the privilege of learning from incredible professors — some of whom worked with Olympic teams — who taught me to ask questions, stay curious, and never stop growing.
After college, my professional path led me into the tech world, but fitness never left my life. I ran half marathons and eventually felt called to something bigger — the marathon. Inspired by my dad, a lifelong runner, I applied to run the 50th TCS New York City Marathon in 2020. I was selected on my first try — then COVID hit. I finally ran the race in 2021, and crossing that finish line was one of the best moments of my life.
Since then, I’ve continued challenging myself with new goals — completing the Boston Marathon and Grandma’s Marathon in 2023, and competing in HYROX, a very intense competition with some of the best athletes in the world. These experiences continue to fuel my passion for fitness, competition, and what we’re all capable of when we stay consistent and committed.
In 2025, I started LiveWell Fitness, a company that provides a vehicle for training highly motivated athletes in target demographics that allow me to provide top quality training workouts for my clients. I'm a retired guy in my mid sixties. I've been working with Sara for the last couple of years. I've been an endurance athlete for most of my adult life but have never done weight training to strengthen my upper body and back. She has helped me become a better rounded athlete with the strength training we've been doing. She is very direct and disciplined. No cheating on those curls.
She also helped me with my post rehab work from lower spinal fusion in 2025. I was able to recover thoroughly and get back to form. So glad she is expanding with LiveWell Fitness.
